Started by Asha Hospitals, a premier psychiatric institute in Hyderabad, Golden Oak – Senior Citizens Home caters to the elderly who are affected with Dementia and related disorders.

At this centre, we have trained staff who look after their specific needs, where various psychological therapies are provided to improve their behavioural problems and enhance their quality of life. The centre offers periodical visits by medical specialists such as psychiatrists, psychologists and physicians, and ophthalmologists to name a few, to help in the early intervention of their medical problems.

Located at Malkaram Village, about 10 km from Shamshabad bus stand, the home has a sprawling campus of four acres with greenery all around, and the facilities are elder-friendly. The home offers dormitories, single rooms, and double-sharing rooms for accommodation, with easy access to well-designed common recreation and dining areas, an activity centre and other facilities.

Families can also use this facility for respite. They can ask for placement in the home to take a vacation/ or a break from dementia care at home, as prevention of caregiver burnout. You are welcome to visit the centre at your convenience and know more about the care we provide.
