I am a neuropsychiatrist working in the beautiful city of Bhopal. As a specialist in the scientific specialty of Psychiatry, I address the diseases of the nervous system i.e. mental disorders manifesting as various behavioral and bodily symptoms, which adversely affect the social and occupational functioning of a majority in the general population.

My Background

I am a well-established and trusted Neuropsychiatrist and see my patients in Amogh Clinic in Indra Vihar Colony in Bhopal. I have got more than 5 years of experience in Neuropsychiatry, Psychology and Brain–behavior relationships. I completed MBBS from G.R. Medical College Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh and MD-Psychiatry from C.I.P., Ranchi. I have also worked as a Senior Resident at C.I.P. for almost 2 years. Apart from clinical practice, I have been one of the team leads conducting digital courses for Community mental health approved by NIMHANS, Bangalore, and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, New Delhi. I have also presented research papers at various prestigious national conferences.

I work closely with my patients to gain a precise understanding of their situation and offer informed and thoughtful insights that help in crafting an affordable and effective treatment plan for them. I provide a full spectrum of Neuropsychological treatments and incorporate a personal approach to care in a relaxed and calming environment.

My Approach & Philosophy

Neuropsychiatry shares thorough interrelations to neuropsychology and behavioral neurology (a subspecialty of neurology that addresses the conditions resulting from brain injury or disease). The amalgamation of skills and knowledge from general neurology and psychiatry sciences is one way neuropsychiatrists differentiate themselves from those that practice at a general level for both of these fields.

I believe that the sensible use of psychiatric medications to treat mental disorders (i.e. psychopharmacology) to form remarkable life changes in those suffering from Depression, Anxiety, Mood Disorders, Migraine and other Headaches, Epilepsy, Addiction, Sleep disturbances, OCD, Schizophrenia, Sexual Problems and other common mental conditions. As a neuropsychiatrist, the approach of treatment is as a medical condition rather than just as a psychological condition.
