Sunshine Homecare started in 2004 with just a nurse and an administrator. In over 15 years, the Sunshine family has added 607 professionals, 120 paraprofessionals serving 300 clients out of eight locations in New York, New Jersey, Illinois and India.

Specialized Nursing Care At Home

Sunshine Homecare nurses are trained and experienced in geriatrics, adult and pediatric care. They are skilled in taking care of patients with chronic or acute illness, patients recovering from surgery or injury. Nurses are available 24/7, on a full/part-time schedule.

Nursing care includes an initial visit where the nurse assesses the patient's condition and then prepares a care plan. Apart from taking care of the daily needs and activities, giving timely medication, IV and saline type treatments, injections, feeding the patient and monitoring medical issues are part of the service. Moreover, there’s nothing more reassuring than having a trained nurse at home who can administer first aid to any of your family members in case of an emergency.

Our nurses also help the patient's family members connect with support groups, care managers, social workers and other skilled professionals. The services provided by Sunshine's nurses include pre and post-op care, including orthopedic, cardiac, asthma care,onco care, dental care, neuro care, renal care, trauma care, etc. IV and nutritional support, tube feeding, tracheostomy, pain and medication management, diabetic management and other medical conditions.

Pathological Services at Home

Don't have the time to go to the lab for a blood test? Don't worry, we will get the lab to you. Sunshine Homecare provides pathological services from sample collection to delivery of reports at home. Our professionals follow strict hygiene, sanitary and safety protocols.
